Andrew- the class of 2010

Ching spent an enjoyable Saturday morning trekking over hill and dale (and over rocks and through water) to shoot Andrew's senior photos. Andrew is a very bright young man who will be attending college in the fall to study engineering, and we wish him the best.

Fiesta Me and My Guy Dance

On Friday evening the Girl Scouts had their annual father-daughter dance at Banner Elementary School in Dunlap. This year's theme was "Fiesta - Me and My Guy Dance." Dads and daughters enjoyed a wonderful evening of dancing and food. Kudos to the organizers for another great program! Click on the photo or the link to see all the dads and their special girls.

PND gets into the swing of spring

On Tuesday the PND and RHS sophomore baseball teams hooked up on the diamond and turned in a gem of a game. Richwoods came away with a close win. Click on the link to see all the photos.

Elaina's Baby Shower

Anna and Mike are ready for the arrival of their little angel, Elaina! Congratulations to the young couple. 

Anna loves ducks and the color yellow. I was told this is only a small amount of Anna's duck collection.

Inside Your Closet (again)

On Thursday evening, Creative Logic, Inc., organized the second of their quarterly events - Inside Your Closet at Waterstone Estate in Edwards, IL. Guests enjoyed the evening with great food from Cracked Pepper Catering, and many local, regional and national organizations and boutiques. Congratulations to the organizers for another outstanding event!

The Sixth Annual International Fair at ICC

The international students at Illinois Central College invite you to attend the sixth annual International Fair to be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m. in the ICC East Peoria campus cafeteria. The event will offer an opportunity to get to know international students and celebrate their cultures through music, entertainment, food samples and dancing. This year a group of international students will also feature a fashion show of traditional costumes which will be modeled by ICC students. Other entertainment will include: Indian dancing and Chinese songs. A few of the countries providing informational booths and food samples are: Japan, China, Turkey and Australia.

This event is open to the public and families will be able to come and learn about and appreciate world cultures while having fun together. Global Village of Peoria Heights will provide attendees with a selection of coffees, chocolates, clothing and gifts from developing countries.

There is an admission donation of $2.00, and children under 12 are admitted free. Food samples will be available at a modest cost. Proceeds will go toward an International student scholarship fund.
