History Channel Shoot

Last week my husband, Lance (left) was at Camp Blanding, Florida with Green Beret and TV host, Terry Schappert, filming an episode of "Warriors", a weekly series premiering on the History Channel on Thursday, March 12, at 9 p.m. Lance was an historical advisor on the Alamo Scouts of WWII and will appear on screen in the season finale airing this summer. We'll keep you posted. If you're wondering, Lance is holding a WWII Paratrooper M1A1 folding stock carbine and Terry an M1 rifle. Whoa! Also, check out the Warriors website by clicking the link above and the Alamo Scouts website at http://www.alamoscouts.org/.

The film crew from High Noon Entertainment poses for a group shot after Thursday's shoot. L-R: John Burshtan (Director); John Sayles (Sound); Terry Schappert (Host); Dan Dvorak (Camera); and Chris Wheeler (Exec Producer). Holly Johnson (Senior Associate Producer), Theresa Hayward (Fixer), and James Armstrong and Celilia Ray (Production Assistants) not pictured.

We Are The CHAMPIONS!

The RHS Lady Knights twisted the Freeport Pretzels around their little fingers on Saturday enroute to a dominating 37-point victory in the Class 3A Girls Illinois State Basketball final. The Lady Knights set the all-time record for the largest margin of victory with the 56-19 win. As she has been all year, Julie was courtside from whistle to whistle. Congratulations to RHS for their second title in five years and a sterling 34-3 record. Click on the link, the photo, or the title to view the game photos.
